Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you cancel your booking:

•⁠ ⁠14 days or more before departure: Full refund, less any non-refundable booking or payment processing fees.

•⁠ ⁠7–13 days before departure: 50% refund.

•⁠ ⁠Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

Refunds are calculated based on the total amount paid for your booking.

You may transfer your booking to another person at no extra cost — just let us know before departure.

If Hackney Bus cancels the trip, you will be offered a transfer to another trip or a full refund.

Weather-related cancellations are subject to our Weather & Cancellation Policy.

Weather & Outdoor Conditions Policy

Our trips involve outdoor activities, and weather and conditions cannot be guaranteed.

Rain, poor surf, wet rock, high or low temperatures, or an unfavourable forecast do not automatically qualify for a refund.

Where possible, we will adapt the itinerary, location or activities to make the best of the conditions.

If Hackney Bus cancels the trip because conditions make it unsafe or the main purpose of the trip cannot reasonably be delivered, you will be offered a transfer to another trip or a refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

If the trip goes ahead but you choose not to travel because of the weather or forecast, our standard Cancellation & Refund Policy (above) applies.
