6-8.11.26 Weekend Surf trip to North Cornwall
Cornwall Surf & Coastal Weekend 🌊
6–8 November
We’re heading back to Cornwall on Friday evening for a weekend of waves, salty air, good food and good company. Fancy joining us? :-)
The forecast is looking small but clean, with offshore winds—ideal for some easygoing longboard sessions or having a go at surfing for the first time. We’ll follow the conditions, with Sennen Cove looking like our best bet for a little weekend swell.
We’ll stay in a cottage or apartment where we can cook, hang out and relax after a day by the sea. The exact spot will depend on how many people join us. Expect a late arrival, around 1am on Saturday, then some sleep before breakfast and a look at the waves.
On Saturday, we’ll aim for two surf sessions, with a café stop and something tasty in between. Hopefully we’ll catch another sunset surf—the last two were pretty special :-)
If Sunday’s waves are too small, the backup plan is to stop at The Wave in Bristol on the way home, subject to session availability.
And you don’t need to surf to come along. There’s plenty here for anyone who fancies coastal walks, little fishing villages and a few days away from London. We can drop you in St Ives or at the start of a coastal walk and pick you up afterwards.
Between sessions, we’ll make time to explore this corner of Cornwall: dramatic cliffs and Atlantic views at Land’s End, a wander around Mousehole’s little harbour and winding streets, or a visit to St Ives for its sandy beaches, galleries and cosy pubs.
We’ll keep the plans flexible around the surf and weather, leaving time for a coffee, a Cornish pasty and simply enjoying being by the sea.
A few waves, a bit of exploring and a good crew to share it with. Everyone welcome 🌊

This October we’re going back to Cornwall, this time with one priority: surf as much as we possibly can. 🏄♀️🏄♂️
Why Hackney Bus instead of public transport or a small car with your mates?
